Fresh Finds 007

Happy Monday!

Here are your Fresh Finds for this week:

  1. Get down with the get ups. Turkish get ups are one of the best ways to improve strength, coordination, and stability across several muscle groups. Plus, you can do them with pretty much anything. Check out the great demonstration here
  2. When life gives you lemons, make paleo chicken piccata. The path to longevity means decreased inflammation. Decrease your inflammation and accomplish your macronutrient goals with this gluten-free/paleo-friendly Italian staple found here.
  3. Choose not to be harmed—and you won’t feel harmed. Don’t feel harmed—and you haven’t been.” Source: Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
  4. Pavel Tsatsouline on how you’ll actually get stronger. Pavel Tsatsouline and his gym are focused on increasing strength, and they know the business well. In the first 4-minute video, Tsatsouline breaks down what the optimal rest period needs to be to maximize strength gains (conditioning muscles is different than strengthening), followed by a 2-minute explanation of why strength should be a priority regardless of your competition type.

If you enjoyed this Fresh Finds newsletter, please let us know and share with others. We will be back next week with an all new list.

Until then!
